Tasting notes
With fruit coming from Shaw Vineyard in Red Mountain, Cabernet Sauvignon comprises two-thirds of this wine, with Petit Verdot a healthy 22% and the balance Merlot. The aromas boast notes of dark chocolate, black raspberry and assorted spices, along with an orange rind note. The flavors show the density but sophistication, with a plush feel, lightly grainy tannins and a warm finish. Cellar until 2025. 146 cases produced.
